Values

 Trust

  • A strong bond between coach and client based on an open and honest dialogue at eye level
  • Every client is considered as being the specialist of his own life as only the client himself knows his personal perception, thoughts and feelings.
  • The client is able to take the best decision, while the coach guides this process to help the client develop his/her full potential.
  • Trust at Your Life Factor also means reliability and confidentiality. Coaching is a service based on mutual trust, information is never disclosed to third parties.

Empowerment

  • Our collaboration is based on acceptance, appreciation and the belief that people are able to develop.
  • Acceptance means that every feeling, thought, step, decision or solution approach expressed by the client is accepted. We appreciate your thoughts and feelings.
  • During the process, our aim is to improve the client’s aptitude to make his own choice, to develop independent solutions and to evolve his personality.

Individuality

  • Coaching is a very personal process. We at Your Life Factor believe in a tailor-made and unique process in order to determine the best solution for the client.
  • We use recognized methods and techniques that foster the individual development in a unique way.
  • This exclusive way of collaboration goes hand in hand with our values of trust, empowerment and systemic approach.

Systemic approach

  • The systemic approach is a special kind of coaching based on Luhmann´s (1984) systemic theory.
  • The theory says that there are different systems which contain different elements. For example, a family (= system) contains different participants like mum, dad, child 1, child 2. Other examples could be a team of employees or a group of inhabitants of a certain culture.
  • The different participants interact and influence each other (e.g. mum´s and dad´s divorce also has an influence on child 1 and child 2).
  • Systemic coaching considers the client as an individual element but also sees him in the context of his system (e.g. family, workplace, culture). This point of view leads to a better understanding of a certain behaviour or feeling and supports the client during his psychological processing and personal development.
